The Corporation of the County of Perth along with its four-member municipalities of North Perth, Perth East, Perth South, and West Perth is seeking proposal submissions from interested, qualified companies or individuals who are capable of developing a comprehensive Economic Development and Tourism Strategy (“Strategy”).  This project will require researching and documenting the key issues facing the County's delivery of Economic Development, Tourism and Transportation, and to develop service recommendations supported by the results of assessments, comparisons to other municipalities similar in complexity and size, industry trends and associated

current and future staffing, and projects and resource requirements. The goal is to ensure that the County’s Economic Development, Tourism and Transportation services are progressive, while ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of high-quality services to investors, businesses, member municipal partners, visitors and citizens.

The time horizon for the completion of the Strategy and implementation plan should be five years from the project start date. This RFP is being used to select a qualified company or individual with the proven skills, resources, and relevant experience to provide consulting and subject matter expertise to develop a high-quality Strategy and implementation plan.
